Robin Hood Auditions

If you are looking for action and adventure, Robin Hood is the story for you. Robin Hood is the tale of a hero who fought against a wicked king in order to bring riches back to the poor. Join Robin Hood and Little John as they stand up against the evil Prince John and encounter many adventures in Sherwood Forest. Here you will also find a charming love story as Robin Hood reencounters his childhood sweetheart, Maid Marion. With plenty of sword fighting, high adventure, and a touch of romance, there’s plenty of excitement for all ages as this ancient story is brought to life.

Audition appointments
•10 auditions per time slot. Time slots are in 30 minute increments.
•Email Michele Bru with your first and second requested time.
•You will receive an e-mail confirmation.

•Callbacks will take place on Saturday, January 15th from 10:00am - 2:00pm
•Callbacks will be a closed procedure.
•Callbacks do not guarantee a part in the show.

Robin Hood Character Role Descriptions

Robin Hood - an outlaw and hero to the common people of England. Male age14-18
Maid Marian - a ward of the King and the object of Robin Hood's affection. Female age 14-18
Sheriff of Nottingham - the tyrannical tax collector for Prince John. Male age 14-18
Prince John - the cowardly brother of King Richard and interim ruler of England. Male age 13-18
Lady Merle - an evil, scheming servant to Prince John. Female age 13-18
Friar Tuck - a monk who is a friend to Robin Hood's band of thieves
Little John - a member of Robin's band, he's a large man with a simple brain. Male age 13-18
Will Scarlet - a key member of Robin's merry band. Male age 12-16.
Beth - a key member of Robin's merry band. Female age 11-15
Mother Meg - the matronly figure of Robin's band. Female age 14-18
Annabel - maid servant to Maid Marian. Female age 13-18
Sheriff's Wife - a clumsy social climber. Female age 14-18
Salome - the daughter of the Sheriff. Female age 10-14
King Richard - the King of England, currently gone fighting the Crusades. Male age 15-18

Fall Show Case Number

Hey Kids,
Be sure to check out the Fall Show Case Song and Dance (Footloose) at http://www.cytsandiego.org/callboard . You can listen to the song and watch the dance routine to practice at home. We start practicing on the 5th class day as a group.

Hey kids,
Our classes have started at North County Inland CYT, but your not too late to join us next week. From Musical Theater to Comedy, Our Gang, Wiggles, Dance, Stunts, and Drama we have it all. Hey kids!

Did you know that not all areas will be starting at the same time? For example South County starts in August and other areas start in September! CYT is trying to be flexible and to accommodate different school districts. Be sure to look carefully at your areas start dates, and check this callboard for great information on classes in North County Inland!
